Procedure & Fees
The art of portraiture has been a long-standing tradition for artists. Karen Lee Crenshaw specializes in high quality, naturalistic, yet painterly portraits of heirloom quality.
Initially, the client and artist get acquainted at either the client’s location or at the artist’s studio. A photography session may take place at this meeting or be scheduled for a later date.
After photographs are taken, the client and artist review the photos to determine the best pose and facial expression for the painting.
The artist will render one or more small compositional sketches for the client’s approval. Upon approval, a non-refundable one-third down payment is required.
Applicable taxes and travel expenses are additional.

Additional
sitters are priced at 25% discount.
